Welcome to the Shakti & Me store

I’m Marta, a Veterinary Nurse since 2008, with experience in surgical nursing, emergency, and intensive care in Portugal and the UK.
After 15 years working in veterinary clinics and hospitals, I realized I needed a new path — one that was more natural and aligned with my values.

The origin of it all lies with Shakti.

 

It was her health issues that led me to look for alternatives and discover Integrative Veterinary Medicine and Natural Food.
Shakti showed me that it’s possible to care in a more conscious way, and today I dedicate myself exclusively to Integrative Veterinary Nursing and to Healthy, Biologically Appropriate Natural Food for Dogs and Cats.

 

 

With George’s arrival, and after he had several adverse reactions to veterinary chemical products, I began exploring natural solutions to repel parasites.
I wanted something safe, effective, and based on aromatherapy, but since I couldn’t find what I was looking for on the market, I decided to create it myself.

 

 

 

That’s how Shakti & Me® was born.
Shakti showed me the way. George gave me the courage.
From necessity came the idea.
Shakti & Me® is an extension of my love for them and for what I believe in.

More than just products, Shakti & Me® represents a purpose.
Each formula is created with intention, knowledge, and respect.
Caring for them is a gesture of love.
